May 4th is no ordinary day for Star Wars Fans. In 2011, the first celebration of Star Wars Day took place in Toronto, Canada, organized by fans. Since 2013, The Walt Disney Company has observed the holiday and it has taken off all over the world.

Never one to miss a reason to celebrate, and since we are big fans of the Star Wars franchise, BigPanda is excited to have you join us in a galaxy far, far away…(or just on Zoom), to taste some delicious tequilas and test your Star Wars knowledge.

Join us for a virtual tequila tasting on Star Wars Day, May 4th, 2021 at 3:00pm PST I 6:00pm EST Eric Ochoa, owner of Elda a cocktail bar in San Francisco’s mission district, will be on hand to share three of his favorite tequilas with us. Eric has chosen a blanco, reposado and añejo for each guest.

At the end of the event, we will announce the winners of our Star Wars trivia contest and hand out prizes:

  • First place prize - Star Wars Lego Millennium Falcon™ and your favorite bottle of tequila from the tasting
  • Second place prize – Star Wars Lego Tantive IV™ and your favorite bottle of tequila from the tasting

If you’ve never been to a BigPanda community gathering, it’s important to know that these virtual events are a chance for IT professionals to get out of work mode, come together and have fun. We don’t do vendor pitches and we don’t drag things out with dozens of PowerPoint slides.

Registration closes on April 27 to give our marketing team enough time to ship you your tequilas and special gift. Guests must be 21 years or older to receive the tequila kit.

If you can’t accept your drink kit or the prizes, let us know when you receive the confirmation email.

We only have room for 30 guests – but each guest can bring a +1, as long as they are 21 years of age or older.
