Last year, Dustin Johnson made history as the Masters champion, with the tournament being played in November. As winter fades, we are excited to watch Johnson compete again in the 85th edition of the Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club, coached again by Claude Harmon III.

Join us after the tournament, on April 14, 2021 at 3:00pm PST I 6:00pm EST, where BigPanda will host Dustin Johnson’s coach, Claude Harmon III, in a special post-Masters virtual happy hour. We will also be handing out big prizes to the winners of our Masters pool.

First, a little background on our guest. Claude Harmon III is Director of Instruction at Butch Harmon Floridian. Steeped in tradition, both his grandfather, Claude Harmon, and father Claude “Butch” Harmon Jr. (who coached Tiger Woods), have been the dominant teachers of their generation. Claude’s teaching philosophy and methods have delivered lower scores and better, more repeatable swings for seasoned tour players, celebrities, and amateurs of all abilities and is now ranked 6th on Golf Digest's 2019-2020 Best Teachers in America List and a Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor.

His past and present students include Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, Rickie Fowler, Si-Woo Kim, Kris Ventura, Jimmy Walker, Ernie Els, Adam Scott, Darren Clarke, Trevor Immelman and Yani Tseng. He is a regulator contributor to Sky Sports Golf and the Golf Channel.

Between now and April 5, tell us who you think will win the Masters. Click here to submit your pick. At the end of the event, we will announce the winners of the pool and hand out prizes

  • First place prize – an autographed photo of Claude Harmon, a BigPanda golf bag and a $250 gift card to Dick’s Sporting Goods
  • Second place prize - an autographed photo of Claude Harmon, a BigPanda golf bag and a $100 gift card to Dick’s Sporting Goods
  • Third place prize - an autographed framed photo of Claude Harmon, and a BigPanda golf bag

If you’ve never been to a BigPanda community gathering, here are a few things to note: these virtual events are a chance for IT Ops, NOC, DevOps and SRE professionals to get out of work mode, come together with their peers and be part of a conversation with smart, entertaining guests. We don’t do vendor pitches and we don’t drag things out with dozens of PowerPoint slides.

If you can’t accept your drink kit or the prizes, we can make a charitable donation of the same value to an organization of your choice.

The Masters happy hour registration closes on April 7, 2021 to give our marketing team enough time to ship out your drink kit, for over 21 guests to enjoy during the event, and a signed golf ball.

We only have room for 50 guests – but each guest can bring a +1. Normally, we ask that they be 21 years of age (or older), but we know there are some young golf fans out there who would love to meet this legendary coach so feel free to invite them too!
